Ever since George Pullman brought artists and skilled craftspeople from all over the world to work on the construction of the town of Pullman and his Pullman Palace Cars, luxury rail travel & private train cars, in the late 1800’s, artists have been drawn to historic Pullman to live and work. Architect Solon S. Beman designed every historic house & public building in Pullman, which are works of art themselves. Pullman is now a National Monument, do not be surprised if you see park rangers in uniform!
